Our Story
We're two great friends with a passion for good things and anything sweet. Our lives came together in 1993 on the 3rd Floor of Lassen Hall at Chico State (Go Wildcats!). We quickly discovered that we were a lot alike and from then on we’ve have had many adventures together. From our matching green bikes (Patty & Selma), to a long, long trip South to New Orleans, and everything in between, we’ve always found our way together. And we’ve managed to have a lot of fun in the process.

Rebecca was always the creative one. She not only designed invitations for our roommate’s re-creation of her 13th birthday party (when it was actually her 21st) and our graduation party, but she continued to display her talent by creating wedding invitations and birth announcements for her friends. With every new project, Nicole (and many others) encouraged Rebecca to start her own business and make her amazing invites available to everyone. But as some say, timing is everything. The week after we decided we were going to pursue this dream together, Nicole opened a fortune cookie with 3 fortunes in it (3 in 1!). One of them read: "You will make a fortune with your friend." The next: "You want to have a house but your family comes first right now." And the last: "Your luck has been completely changed today." First we took these fortunes as a small sign, laughed, and then realized that they held meaning. And so, Sweet Luck Studio was born!

When she’s not eating cookies, Nicole divides her time between managing and planning community programs & events, and obtaining her Masters degree. Now, with two little boys by her side, Nicole is Sweet Luck Studio's Director of Operations and customer liaison extraordinaire. Rebecca received her degree in Graphic Arts and has since spent almost 10 years using her creative talents in various companies. Now as the Creative Director for Sweet Luck Studio she can translate your ideas and personality onto paper.

Philosophy
We believe that important events and occasions deserve great invitations. Our inspiration for starting Sweet Luck Studio was to create invitations and announcements that do more than just convey information, but also to reflect the occasion and personality of each individual person. In our high-tech world, sometimes the only “real” mail we receive are invitations and announcements, so we see the importance of creating beautiful handcrafted products that bring meaning to both the sender and the receiver.

Our goal is to transform the potentially overwhelming task of selecting the perfect invitation or announcement into an easy, stress-free and fun experience. These occasions are important to you and that’s why we’ll provide you with personal service and attention to every design and product we produce.
